A Japanese pop star has shaved her head. (AKB48)

A member of Japanese most famous idol group (AKB48) broke a cardinal rule and shaved her head for apology.

In Japan, Shaving head is one of the ways to show he or she feels sorry for what he did, though it's old and it's unusual these days. When making a mistake, sometimes people say "I will shave my head.", but it's only in words and no one takes it seriously.

In this case, it's crazy that she acturelly shave her head, and maybe some mental pressure which she felt by herself made her do so. (or perhaps a performance by the management firm.)

To start with, I think it's odd that there is a cardinal rule of "no-dating".
